The Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Oklahoma, reported receipts of 9,132 head on March 9, compared to 9,892 head last week and 9,380 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Compared to a week ago, the feeder steers weighing 700 to 800 pounds were selling $3 to $4 higher with heavier weights steady to $1.50 lower. The feeder heifers were steady. The steer calves were steady to $3 higher. The heifer calves were steady to $3 higher. The demand was good for all classes. The fill was average to full. The supply included 92% weighing over 600 pounds and 39% was heifers.
