Trends in crop input prices

Managing for Profit copyCrop input prices for 2016 have come down, although the decreases haven’t been nearly as much or as fast as many farmers would have liked.

Mike Preiner with farm management software and analytics firm Granular has been evaluating trends in crop input prices from 2015 to 2016. He says their data shows an average savings of 17 dollars per acre this year compared to last year, not including rent.
